Monday night is club night
All members are welcome to come down for a sociable knock around on Monday evenings. We play round robin format, typically 15 minutes per game or best of 3. Lights are on from 7.00 every Monday – the cost is £2 per person for members and £4 for non members to cover lighting. The first night is FREEEEEEE.
Coaching
We are proud to be affiliated with Scottish Squash, and our coaching program is led by Scotland International James Taylor. As a fully qualified coach with an impressive track record. James has played National events up and down the country. With coaching sessions available fortnightly, our rates are competitive, and we welcome both adults and juniors to participate in our program.
Ladies Squash
Our Club is proud to host a friendly and welcoming group of ladies who enjoy a hit about and socialising on Thursday nights at 7.00pm. For just £2 per member, they can join in on the fun. Guests and non-members are also welcome to come along for an introduction to the group. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and enjoy a great night out!
Internal Leagues
The club is currently running internal leagues consisting of five/six divisions. All members of each division play each other over a 4-6 week period and at the end of the period there will be promotion and relegation between divisions. Members wishing to join the next league period can sign up in the club house or e-mail us.

East of Scotland Squash League
The Border Reivers won East League 3 and the 2nd Team participate in East League 4 and play weekly fixtures from Sept-April against other teams in Edinburgh and the East of Scotland. Home ties are a TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT and this takes up both courts and the viewing area. Look at the Notice Board for the Team schedule or go to SportyHQ.com
Racketball
Squash courts can also be used for racketball. This is a very similar game but is played with different rackets and a more bouncy ball that is roughly the size of a tennis ball. The game can be rather fast, when played by fit agile players. However, because the ball bounces very readily, it is also perfect for a more sedate game. The club can supply racketball rackets and balls for use by members.
Juniors
The club has recently restarted the Juniors Section, there are ad-hoc junior sessions run from week to week and all standards are catered for.
