BORDER REIVERS 18-2 COLINTON CASTLE 3s
It was another Clean Sweep for the Border Reivers as for the 2nd Match in a roe the Borderers triumph in All their games. Colinton Castle only mustered 4 players for the occasion so the Reivers loaned them Darren Quinn for the occasion. It was an interesting match for Del Sharratt as Darren took a 1-0 lead in their match before Del settled into it and managed to take control of the game to come back and win 3-1. Graeme Gillie v Calum Brown wasn’t a one-sided affair by any means; Gillie has a very unorthodox style where he can swap hands and therefore most of his shots are forehands and this confuses a lot of opponents. Jordan, Adam and Tony found their victories a bit smoother and the Border Reeivers travel to Haddington next full of confidence and hope t ocarry the form through the season.
